Bio’s

Jeff Miley- Guitar
Originally from Los Angeles, Jeff’s interest in guitar came from listening to Chet Atkins.
He has earned a bachelor’s degree in classical guitar from California State University at
Northridge and is now on the faculty at Cuesta College teaching guitar in the applied
music program. As a Jazz musician Jeff has released several CD’s of his own original
music and has appeared on many others. He is a very versatile musician, equally
comfortable playing many styles. Everyday, he re-commits himself to push at the
boundaries of what is possible in improvisation and composition, and to seek out
musicians who wish to do the same. He has performed all over the U.S., in Japan, and in
Europe, and continues to maintain a very fulfilling live performance schedule. Features in
written media include Guitar Player Magazine (he won that magazine’s “Spotlight
Award”), Jazzwise Magazine (U.K), Gendai Guitar Magazine (Japan), The L.A. Jazz
Scene, and JazzTimes, among others.

 

John Flitcraft – Bass Guitar
A graduate and former instructor of The Musician’s Insttute in Hollywood California,
John’s playing has inspired may musicians across the globe. His band “Altered” performs
regularly at the world famous LA jazz club “The Baked Potato” and their CD’s are sold
worldwide. He has attended the Berklee Colege of music in Boston and has studied with
world renowned bassist Gary Willis. John is an in demand composer, performer and
educator.
